About Mothers Kids and More (MKM)
Mothers kids and more (MKM) is a organization with thousands of people, predominantly mothers, who are united with a vision to help each other progress in their chosen fields while learning what they positively impact on the society.
MKM was founded July 2017 by Osas Stephine Iroha (Osamakue Izevbokun).
Vision ..
Our vision is of a world where African women and children are socially and economically empowered and living healthy lives.
We have been able to impact and change lives by empowering over 500 women in our community to start their small scale business and about 15,000 women have gotten free training organized by us.
Mission
Mothers Kids and More (MKM) empowers and supports African women and their children. We achieve this through workshops, seminars and conferences and by providing specialist information and advice, mostly to do with health and micro-business. We also foster peer-to-peer connection and mutual support through our community. We are currently present mainly in Nigeria and have over 479.000K members.
Our resources and programmes help tackle the barriers women face, which prevent them from taking charge of their futures and achieving their socio-economic goals. We work to boost women’s self-esteem, empowering them to become self-sufficient and independent, both financially and personally, in the absence of sufficient government support.
